“Every man dies — Not every man really
lives.” - William Ross
Bucket List is a list
of all the things you ever wanted to do, things you dreamt of, and life
experiences you wish to experience while you live. The sole purpose of creating
a bucket list is to fully utilize every moment of our being and live life to
the fullest. Instead of spending our time on pointless things, a bucket list
enables us, to direct it toward things that matter to us. A bucket list lets
you explore every aspect of your life.
A bucket list can
belong to any category relevant to you like Profession, Health and fitness,
Education, Hobbies, Experience and Travel. If you already have a bucket list,
review it and update it according to your changing requirements. Try to keep it
realistic. You don't need to complete or achieve all the items on your bucket
list. Recently, I watched a movie The Bucket List (Morgan Freeman and Jack
Nicholson). This movie inspired me to create my bucket list. I have created a
separate bucket list for different categories as Experience, Travel and
Professional.
Just like a personal
bucket list, you can also create your professional bucket list which will help
you to set your professional goals. Many of us are so much dedicated to our
career that setting up a bucket list can serve the encouragement we need from
time to time. Your professional bucket list is the subpart of your overall
bucket list. Below is my professional bucket list:

experience

million rupees

Reverse Bucket
List
This is the list of
things you’ve already done. You only need to enlist completed items. The idea
is to help you realize that you have achieved more than you think. You write down
every goal you have achieved or experienced. This makes you feel proud of all
the interesting things you have done so far. It’s a great way to be thankful
for those experiences, rather than frustrated at the things we haven’t done.
Your professional Reverse bucket list can be a part of your Resume.
A bucket list can be
not just for fun activities but also for serious life goals. It can be a means
to give you that little push to work harder when the goals seem distant. You
can either make a copy on your desktop or write it in your diary or maybe stick
it on the wall and check off things from the list you have already done. A
professional bucket list will help you to keep working in the right direction.
